Matt Montez stammt ursprünglich aus Leeds, UK, und begann seine Musikerkarriere während eines Australienaufenthalts. Inspiriert durch die schöne Umgebung und gute Stimmung, war seine Kreativität unaufhaltsam in Gang gekommen. Die Musik ist hauptsächlich durch einen nomadischen Lebensstil und die Verbindung zur Natur geprägt.
