In einer kürzlich ausgestrahlten Folge der Fox-Fernsehserie „Bones“ stellte eine Figur einen Mix aus den „fünf besten Trennungsliedern“ zusammen und schenkte ihn einem Kollegen mit gebrochenem Herzen. Der Mix enthielt Songs von den Alternative-Pop-Stars Sia, Mazzy Star, José González, Antony and the Johnsons... und einem Künstler ohne Plattenvertrag namens Aaron English. Die Songs des in Nashville lebenden Singer-Songwriters und Pianisten Aaron English sind anspruchsvoll, filmisch... und voller Anklänge an seine Reisen durch Afrika und den Nahen Osten.

Seine acht im Eigenverlag erschienenen Alben und EPs haben Vergleiche mit Peter Gabriel, James Blunt, David Gray, Sting, Robert Plant und Paul Simon aufkommen lassen.

Das Feature auf „Bones“ ist nur einer von Englishs bemerkenswerten Erfolgen, zu denen auch ein Top-5-Radiohit in Italien, ein Top-20-Radiohit in den USA, zwei Hits in Pakistan und die Ernennung zum „Artist to Watch“ des Keyboard Magazine gehören. Im Jahr 2015 verbrachte Aaron zwei Monate in Ostafrika, wo er das International Youth Music Project gründete, eine Wohltätigkeitsorganisation, die Jugendmusikprogramme in Waisenhäusern, Flüchtlingslagern und HIV/AIDS+ Gemeindezentren unterstützt.
Im Jahr 2023 reiste Aaron nach Karatschi, Pakistan, wo er mit pakistanischen Künstlern Konzerte gab und Musik schrieb. Die Reise gipfelte in der Klimawandel-Hymne „Sound the Alarm“, einer Zusammenarbeit von Aaron mit dem US-Außenministerium und dem Hip-Hop-Star Ali Gul Pir.
Aaron teilt seine Zeit zwischen Tourneen in den USA und Europa, seinen Wohltätigkeitsaktivitäten in Afrika, Livestream-Konzerten auf StageIt.com und der Zusammenarbeit mit Musikern auf der ganzen Welt in Form von Songs und Videos auf.

The feature on “Bones” is just one of English’s notable achievements, which also includes a Top 5 radio hit in Italy, Top 20 radio hit in the U.S., two hits in Pakistan, and being named a Keyboard Magazine “Artist to Watch”. In 2015 Aaron spent two months in East Africa, where he founded the International Youth Music Project, a charity that supports youth music programs at orphanages, refugee camps and HIV/AIDS+ community centers.
In 2023 Aaron travelled to Karachi, Pakistan, where he played concerts and wrote music with Pakistani artists. The trip culminated in the climate change anthem “Sound the Alarm”, Aaron’s collaboration with the U.S. State Department and hip-hop star Ali Gul Pir.
Aaron divides his time between touring in the U.S. and Europe, his charity efforts in Africa, livestream concerts on StageIt.com, and long-distance song and video collaborations with musicians around the world.
