We Met In June (NOR)
We Met In June ist mit ihrer verträumten Mischung aus Folk-Pop und Amercana ein frischer Wind in der norwegischen Musikszene. Das Duo besteht aus dem Ehepaar Sara Rose Zadig und Gjest Ingeson Kvåle, die auf verschiedenen musikalischen Wegen gemeinsam ihren eigenen Ausdruck gefunden haben. Die Musik ist sowohl nostalgisch als auch frisch, mit deutlichen Bezügen zu den legendären Fleetwood Mac, aber auch zu modernen Country-Pop-Größen wie Kacey Musgraves und Taylor Swift.
Die Newcomer veröffentlichten ihre erste Single im April 2023 und haben seitdem Konzerte im ganzen Land gespielt, mehrere Plätze auf der Bezirksliste von Norwegens größtem Radiosender NRK P1 erreicht, einen Platz in Talent Norways prestigeträchtiger Initiative „Pop Up“ erhalten und den Preis für den „Durchbruch des Jahres“ beim Luttprisen 2024 gewonnen. Ihr Debütalbum „Loving Living“ erhielt hervorragende Kritiken, und bereits im Herbst 2025 wird das zweite Album des Duos erscheinen.

We Met In June is a breath of fresh air on the Norwegian music scene with it´s dreamy blend of folk-pop and Amercana. The newcomers released their first single in April 2023 and have since then performed concerts all over the country, achieved several spots on the district list of Norway´s largest radio station NRK P1, earned a spot in Talent Norway´s prestigious initiative “Pop Up” and won the award for «Breakthrough of the Year» at Luttprisen 2024. Their debutalbum «Loving Living» received excellent reviews, and already in the fall of 2025, the duo's second album will be released.
The duo consists of the couple Sara Rose Zadig and Gjest Ingeson Kvåle, who, through different musical journeys, have created their own expression together. The music is both nostalgic and fresh, with clear references to legendary Fleetwood Mac, as well as modern country-pop giants like Kacey Musgraves and Taylor Swift.
