Aufgewachsen mit Country-Radio in ihrer Heimatstadt Charleston, South Carolina, ist Claire Conway eine Songwriterin mit einem Gespür für Authentizität. Mit einfachen Riffs, sanften Harmonien und stimmungsvoller Slide-Gitarre webt sie lebendige Porträts ihres Lebens. Sie hat vier EPs veröffentlicht und arbeitet derzeit an ihrem ersten vollständigen Album. Claire lebt heute in Seattle und tourt durch die USA und international, wo sie mit ihren weisen, anmutigen und ehrlichen Texten große und kleine Säle zum Schweigen bringt.
Der Duke of Norfolk ist das Aufnahmeprojekt des umtriebigen Folk-Musikers Adam Thomas Howard. Howard wuchs in Oklahoma auf und wurde schon früh von irischer Traditionsmusik, Bluegrass-Musik und der in London ansässigen Folktronic-Band Tunng inspiriert. Nach seinem Umzug nach Edinburgh, wo er Sounddesign studierte, begann sich seine Musik irgendwo zwischen traditioneller Folk-Instrumentierung und modernerer elektronischer Folk-Musik anzusiedeln.
Howard lebt und nimmt derzeit in Paris auf.

Raised on country radio in her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina, Claire Conway is a songwriter with an ear for authenticity. Weaving vivid portraits of her life backed by simple riffs, soft harmonies and moody slide guitar, she has released four EPs and is currently completing her first full album. Claire now lives in Seattle and has toured across the US and internationally, quieting rooms large and small with lyrics that are wise, graceful, and honest.
The Duke of Norfolk:
The Duke of Norfolk is the recording project of the peripatetic folk musician Adam Thomas Howard. Howard grew up in Oklahoma and was inspired early on by Irish traditional music, bluegrass music, and the London-based folktronic band Tunng. After moving to Edinburgh to study Sound Design his music began to nestle somewhere between traditional folk instrumentation and more modern electronic folk.
Howard currently resides and records in Paris.
