Agata Karczewska /Kar-chef-ska/, eine Singer-Songwriterin aus Warschau, Polen, verbindet Einflüsse aus amerikanischem Folk und Country zu einem Stil, der rau, warm und zutiefst persönlich wirkt. Als Autodidaktin, inspiriert von Künstlern wie Elliott Smith und Bob Dylan, schreibt sie Songs, die authentische Geschichten erzählen, und verbindet dabei ihre kraftvolle, unverwechselbare Stimme mit dem warmen Klang einer Akustikgitarre.
2017 erschien ihr eigenes Material, in dem Agata über Sünde, Sensibilität und Einsamkeit singt, auf ihrer Debüt-EP „You're Not So Special“. Ihr erstes Album „I’m Not Good at Having Fun“ kam 2019 heraus und öffnete ihr die Türen zu großen Festivals wie Open’er, Pol'and'Rock und Way Out West in Schweden.
2020 wurde Agata für einen Fryderyk-Award, Polens Version des Grammy, nominiert und gewann den Mateusz-Award des renommierten Radiosenders Trójka für vielversprechende Nachwuchskünstler. Im Januar 2020 gewann sie den Wettbewerb „Best Song of the Month“ von Songwriter Universe für ihren Song „Fool“.
2022 tat sie sich mit dem englischen Songwriter John Porter zusammen, um den Song „No Way to Say Goodbye“ zu schreiben, und aus dieser Zusammenarbeit entstand das Album „On the Wrong Planet“, das 2023 erschien. Das Album brachte ihnen 2024 einen Fryderyk-Award ein.
Im Dezember 2024 veröffentlichte sie die neue EP „Not My First Rodeo“, auf der sie erneut ihre erzählerische Art und ihre ehrlichen Texte unter Beweis stellt.

In 2017, her original material, where Agata sings about sin, sensitivity, and loneliness, was released on her debut EP, You're Not So Special. Her first LP, I’m Not Good at Having Fun, came out in 2019 and opened doors to major festivals like Open’er, Pol'and'Rock, and Way Out West in Sweden.
In 2020, Agata was nominated for a Fryderyk award, Poland’s version of the Grammy, and won the Mateusz award from prominent radio station, Trójka for promising young artists. In January 2020, she won the "Best Song of the Month" contest by Songwriter Universe for her song „Fool."
In 2022, she teamed up with English songwriter John Porter to create the song "No Way to Say Goodbye," and their partnership grew into the album On the Wrong Planet, released in 2023. The album won them a Fryderyk award in 2024.
